Pelvic Floor for the Female Athlete

Join us at Chic's Beach CrossFit on Saturday November 9th at 10:00 am for Pelvic Floor Workshop!


Come dressed ready to move your bodies for this 90 minute educational and interactive workshop! Following an informational session, you will be participating in an engaging workout to enforce all of the strategies learned in the workshop. All experience levels are welcome and encouraged to participate!

This workshop will teach you how to effectively address your pelvic floor while exercising and learn about its significance during overload type movements. The pelvic floor is an important piece of “core strength” that is, unfortunately, often times overlooked and misunderstood. It is my mission that women, like you, have the opportunity to learn the basics of the female body as a means to improve your athletic performance and confidence. Join us this November as we open up an important conversation regarding women’s health and introduce you to a new and more functional way of moving.

Light refreshments and snacks to follow with time for Q&A and one on one time with the instructor.

This workshop is hosted by passionate and energetic physical therapist serving the Virginia Beach area, Dr. Samantha Welles, PT, DPT from Virginia Beach Physical Therapy and Wellness.
